Job Profile:
To ensure the regular business from Life sciences and research accounts keeps flowing as this is substantial business
• Develop overall strategy and go-to-market plans for the pharma and bio-pharma industry and academia.
• Aggressively grow and achieve the annual sales target for the Life Science Research product portfolio through our national distribution partners and direct accounts.
• Organize, plan, and schedule utilization of selling time to provide optimum effective account and territory coverage.
• Fully develop current product knowledge capabilities, applications, product justification, in order to be recognized as the expert in the field.
• Continuously be on the forefront by observing and analyzing market trends, customer challenges & requirements, as well as identify future needs.
• Responsible for pricing and business models on the basis of the input from the industry and customers.
• Sales budget and forecast planning for the region.
• Drive internal teams to grow and expand upon existing business.
Desired Profile:
• Masters in biotechnology
• 10-15 years of sales experience out of which at least 4-5 years in a managerial position
• Developing, driving and closing business and achieving targets - Negotiation and influencing skills
