1) To attend and advise Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) and Housing Departments on queries/matters pertaining to the provisions of Companies Act, Transfer of Property Act, and such other laws affecting the Departments.
2) Serve as the scrutinizing and approving authority for all legal documents pertaining to MSE and Housing business.
3) Provide assistance to branches in day to day affairs pertaining to MSE and Housing business.
4) Suggest suitable mode of creation of charge, depending on the nature of property offered as security, availability of title deeds etc.
5) Act as a facilitator for resolving legal issues faced by MSE and Housing Departments in connection with processing of Loan.
6) Vetting of Title Scrutiny Reports submitted by panel Advocates.
7) Managing legal issues pertaining to creation/registration of Mortgages, Hypothecation & Pledge etc.
8) Drafting suitable loan documents.
9) Advise the MSE and Housing Department regarding ceding (pari passu, second charge etc.) and to suggest suitable documentation in relation to Loan sanctioned against property.
10) Drafting/vetting/review of all kinds of credit documentation for MSE and Housing.
11) Advise the branches, MSE and Housing Departments about changes in stamp duty, registration rules etc., depending on the changes therein brought by the respective States.
12) Interact with the empanelled law-firms/lawyers for obtaining Title Clearance Report and other documents pertaining to immovable properties and other securities.
8+ years relevant legal experience from banking background.
Exposure to Housing & Micro and Small Enterprises preferred.
