The Head of Applications Delivery is responsible for overseeing the application portfolio (Sales, Customer Services, Finance, HR, Investments) that support the business across and also manage application development initiatives (covering the front office, middle office and back office) through third party vendors.
The primary responsibilities would include:
1. Delivery of critical business applications
2. Managing Centres of Excellence – BI and Reporting
3. Driving new initiatives on emerging Technologies – Mobility, Social, Cloud
Is also responsible for ;
Promoting better software development lifecycle and application management practices.
Standardization of best practices to reduce costs and increase the business value of IT.
Provide technology assurance on the application space on critical Business initiatives.

7-12 years experience
Must be from Insurance Industry
Strong technical skills specifically on Java/J2EE and BPM specifically Tibco and Filenet
