Job Description

1. Own market intelligence, Price benchmarking and Quality benchmarking across various markets for your portfolio product Fresh Fruits & Vegetable categories
2. Will own Margins, Prediction, Dump, SKU’s growth and quality
3. Will own Negotiation of margins & supplier terms, planning of supply chain activities for the categories handled
4. Will be playing a key role in planning business, buying & sourcing of SKU’s
5. Will be responsible for Vendor and Farmers Management for assigned SKU’s
6. Benchmarking of fruits and vegetable prices in comparison to the wholesale market
7. Benchmarking purchase prices with the market, ensuring efficient buying at economic rates

Desired Profile

1. MBA from Top institutions
2. 3-7 years of experience work experience across FMCG and/or Retail in building a new segment, channel or category from bottom up
3. Category management experience within a major FMCG company or significant experience in handling private brands for a major retail chain
4. General management experience managing the P&L for a business with significant revenues
5.Has relentless focus, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to multitask while working in a highly charged environment
6.Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Proven ability to work in ambiguous situations
